Military Trail
Military Trail is an interior forest traverse on St Kitts, crossing west-central upland ground between Wingfield and the higher reserve-side forest.
Overview
Military Trail is a through-route across interior forest rather than a single landmark or lookout. The track moves through dense vegetation in the uplands of central St Kitts.
It is associated with the inland side of Old Road Area, the Wingfield side of the island, and the higher forest leading toward Central Forest Reserve National Park. The route is also referred to locally as Soldier's Trail.
The trail is best read as an upland corridor between lower estate land and wetter high forest. The emphasis is on crossing interior ground, not on reaching one endpoint.
