Majors Bay
Majors Bay is a remote Atlantic-facing bay on St Kitts's Southeast Peninsula, with exposed surf, scenic views, and very limited facilities.
Overview
Majors Bay sits on the Atlantic side of the Southeast Peninsula in Saint George Basseterre, near the Sea Bridge ferry terminal. It is one of the less developed bays within the wider Southeast Peninsula coastal run.
The shoreline is exposed, so surf and currents are stronger than at sheltered Caribbean-side beaches. That makes the bay a poor choice for casual swimming but a strong fit for coastal viewing and a sense of open sea.
Facilities are limited and the setting feels quiet and lightly used. Visitors usually come for the scenery and the remote character rather than for a service-led beach day.
