Saint Peter Basseterre
Saint Peter Basseterre is a parish on the northeast side of greater Basseterre, linking suburban fringes, Conaree-side settlements, and parts of the exposed Atlantic coast.
Overview
Saint Peter Basseterre lies immediately beyond the capital on St Kitts, spreading north and northeast from the built-up edge of Basseterre into a broader parish landscape. It should be read as a parish-level unit rather than as the same thing as Conaree Area, which is a tighter label for the windward corridor.
The parish is associated with the road and settlement belt that leads toward Conaree, with residential districts nearer the capital and more open land farther out. It also extends toward the exposed coast where places such as Half Moon Bay sit within a wider parish setting rather than as stand-alone district markers.
Its distinct role is transitional. Saint Peter Basseterre is neither the capital core nor a remote rural parish; it sits between those two conditions, combining suburban growth, village land, and windward coastal exposure in one administrative frame.
