Bat Cave

Bat Cave is a cave site in rough foothill terrain above Challengers, set inland from the west coast near the Stone Fort River.

Overview

Bat Cave is an undeveloped cave feature in steeper ground than the settled west-coast corridor below it. The setting is defined by foothill slopes and nearby river-cut terrain rather than by the shoreline.

The cave lies behind Challengers within Trinity Palmetto Point, on the Stone Fort River side of the west-southwest interior. Bat Cave Trail covers the approach separately.

The cave reads as part of the transition from village edge to rougher hillside country. Even though the west-side settlement belt is the practical anchor, the feature itself belongs to inland foothill terrain.
