Job Description
The Specialty Chef (Manager) role in Frigate Bay, Saint Kitts is a full-time food and beverage position that combines hands-on culinary work with team leadership. The manager personally prepares food items, leads shifts, supervises cooks and workers, and oversees all kitchen areas to support a consistent, high-quality product. The role also focuses on guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining the operating budget, and ensuring sanitation and food standards are met.
The position involves supervising day-to-day kitchen operations, developing staff, maintaining open communication, and assisting the Executive Chef with kitchen operations. It also includes maintaining purchasing, receiving, and food storage standards, checking raw and cooked food quality, and creating decorative food displays.
