Executive Pastry Chef
Job Description
The Executive Pastry Chef in Frigate Bay, Saint Kitts is accountable for the daily pastry operation at St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino. The role leads staff in preparing quality, consistent pastries for all areas, supervises pastry preparation shift operations, develops new pastry items, assists with pastry menu development, and maintains sanitation, food handling, and storage standards. It also involves improving guest and employee satisfaction, managing budgets and inventories, handling guest feedback, and supporting pastry classes and media events as needed.
The position supervises pastry teams, including direct reports, and requires guiding, coaching, and training staff while maintaining productivity and service standards. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED with 4 years of related experience, or a 2-year degree with 2 years of related experience, along with proven luxury pastry experience, strong communication skills, and fluency in English and Spanish.
