Nevis Waterfalls Hike
Nevis Waterfalls Hike is the rainforest route above Maddens that leads to the waterfalls and pools of the island's windward forest.
Overview
Nevis Waterfalls Hike is the walking route into Nevis Waterfalls from the Maddens side. The hike is shaped by wet forest, uneven ground, and stream-related terrain rather than by open views or summit travel.
The route belongs to the windward side of the island above Maddens in Saint James Windward, where east-side forest replaces village streets and lower coastal ground. It should be read separately from the Golden Rock-side mountain routes higher up the Gingerland flank.
Water and rock set the tone for the walk from early on. The route stays tied to damp forest and watercourse ground in a way that makes it very different from the drier hill walks on Nevis.
