Nag's Head Nature Reserve
Nag's Head Nature Reserve is the protected cliff and dry-forest landscape at the far end of the Southeast Peninsula on St Kitts.
Overview
Nag's Head Nature Reserve occupies the outer end of the Southeast Peninsula, where low dry vegetation, exposed rock, and sea cliffs shape the land. It is a headland reserve rather than a forested park or beach strip.
The reserve lies within the wider Southeast Peninsula, beyond the more familiar bays and shoreline stops along the road. It marks the peninsula's outer edge, where the land narrows and the coast becomes harsher.
This is one of the clearest places to read the peninsula as a dry coastal landform. The reserve is shaped by exposure, cliffs, and open sea rather than by swimming coves or built beach frontage.
