Job Description
The Accounts/Billing Clerk supports hotel accounting in Frigate Bay by preparing and mailing timely, complete, and error-free bills, pursuing outstanding accounts receivable, and protecting hotel assets. Day-to-day work includes processing checks for payment on account, ensuring credit card charges are processed the following working day, handling telephone and written correspondence on receivables, researching chargebacks and return checks, posting charges and rebates, and preparing intercompany invoices.
Applicants should have at least one year in a similar hotel accounting position and a high school diploma with an accounting background. The role also involves maintaining credit records, auditing group master accounts, helping with month-end responsibilities, following credit policy, practicing emergency procedures and loss prevention guidelines, and providing timely, friendly, and professional service.
